Looking for the Best Web Host? Base it From My Experience
Thursday, January 31st, 2008This blog is now powered by the most powerful Content Management System (CMS) for blogs called Wordpress. I moved from a blogger hosted blog to here because I felt being limited by blogger. You just had no total control over your blog. I treat this blog like a baby of mine and I take care of it. Having no total control over it and leaving it on the hands of another person (google) really isn’t reassuring.
Are you also planning on moving?
Lets now take time to know what is needed for a successful move to wordpress.
Step 1: Picking a domain name
If you don’t have this yet is choosing a good domain name, e.g YourBlogsName.com. Registering one would cost you around $7. If you are wary of your money, trust me, registering one is really worth it. If you have already done this, you could move right on to step 2.
There are lots of good domain hosting sites out there today. I would suggest you use one of the most established ones. This way, you get assured of their services because a lot of people also trust them.
Step 2: Web Hosting
There are lots of good web hosts too, if you want to pick one. Try reading this article about the best web hosting you could find.
If you have done this two steps, check back on this blog for my post about how to configure your webhost.
