Have you heard of the new game that will be released exclusively for the Playstation 3? I guess you would’ve figured it out by now because of the post title. The game I am referring to is Metal Gear Solid 4 or MGS4. This is one of the most sought after games today. It was released just a few days ago and it is hitting the gaming world by storm. It has broken some records for sales (but did not beat Grand Theft Auto 4).

I took something out of wikipedia. It talks about Metal Gear Solid 4 (MGS4).

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (commonly abbreviated as MGS4) is a stealth action game in the popular Metal Gear series. Directed by Hideo Kojima, Shuyo Murata and Yoji Shinkawa, Guns of the Patriots was developed by Kojima Productions exclusively for the Blu-Ray player.. The game, designed around the motto, “No Place to Hide!”, is the last Metal Gear video game developed by Hideo Kojima, and the last video game in the series starring Solid Snake. The game was released worldwide on June 12, 2008, 10 years after the release of Metal Gear Solid and 20 years after the first Metal Gear.

In Metal Gear Solid 4, the player (Old Snake) must navigate the game world in order to progress, using nanomachines. It uses the series’ traditional third person view with full camera manipulation, but also allows the freedom to play in first-person mode, as well as an over the shoulder view which can be switched from right shoulder to left for easy corner maneuvering. The Close Quarters Combat system has been completely revamped. The player is also able to interrogate guards for information and supplies.

Several elements from previous titles return in modified forms. Players can also use a new form of camouflage called “Octocamo”, which replaces the camouflage system featured in Metal Gear Solid 3. Dark blue when disabled, the Octocamo suit allows the wearer to blend in with any surface within a few seconds. A new monocular device called “Solid Eye” replaces the various binoculars and image intensifiers from previous titles, and a steel drum complements the series’ traditional cardboard box disguise. It is able to deflect bullets, and can be rolled to knock enemy soldiers over, but can lead to Snake being sick should the player roll around too much.

1. Success is your only option. When you make this career shift there are going to be plenty of detractors. People will assume you’re taking the easy way out of going to a 9-5 job. Don’t feed into this stereotype. If you expect to make a livable wage from your freelancing then you can’t allow negativity to creep into your thoughts. By having some wriggle room in your schedule you can fit in a client’s rush order.
4. Suggest new ideas. The easiest money you can make comes from happy customers. If a client loved something you did and truly raved about it, then feel confident enough to pitch another idea if you know what they may need in the future. Return customers will also respect your decision-making more than someone you’ve never worked with before.
5. This is your job, not a hobby. You don’t get paid to work on your hobbies. You get paid to work and this is what freelance writing is. Determine how many hours you’ll need to work a week and how many jobs you’ll need to and be able to take on. Figure out your budget and how much you expect to make. This is what you’d do if you were looking for another regular, 9-5 job. You need to pay your bills and being lazy will not get that done.

One of the newer ones but certainly isn’t the least. Requirements for your blog to get accepted are minimal which mean that they are not that strict on the screening of blogs that get accepted. All your blog needs is it to have unique content and no hate, porn, or illegal materials on it.

BuyBlogReviews.com offers the HIGHEST commission rate to the bloggers or publishers. While most of the other review sites offer 50%-60% commission, BuyBlogReviews.com gives bloggers an amazing 70% share of the profit. In other words, you get $7 for a review worth $10.

2. SponsoredReviews

They have no mentioned requirements for blogs to get accepted. I think what they are after is just some decent amount of content on your blog and a good number of visitors to boot. As an example, income for everyone dot info got accepted on this program when it was still a month old. I had no PR and was still receiving about 100 page views a day but nonetheless, they accepted the blog on their program.

Payment: Sent via PayPal two (2) weeks or fifteen (15) days after approval of post.

3. Smorty

One of the picky program on this list. To get accepted you need to accomplish a lot of requirements like your blog must be indexed by the two leading search engines in the world Google and Yahoo and your blog must also be at least three (3) months or ninety (90) days old. Your blog should also be updated at least twice per week.

Payments: Sent weekly via paypal.

4. PayPerPost

Requirements for your blog to be accepted is that it must at be least online for already 90 days and it should have twenty (20) preexisting posts. They allow blogs that are hosted by blogger.com but not ones hosted on BlogCharm, BloggerParty, WritingUp or some other sites that function alike the mentioned ones.

Payment: Payment is sent after 30 days via PayPal.

5. Blogitive

Requirements for your blog to get accepted is that it must have a decent amount of traffic and it must be indexed by major search engines Google and Yahoo. Blogs must be at least ninety (90) days old, a requirement similar to PayPerPost and your blog must have at least three (3) new posts every week.

Payments: Review price fixed at $5 per post and sent weekly basis via PayPal. Good for small blogs, if you have already an well established one, just skip on to the other programs.

6. Blogsvertise

Your blog must be more than thirty (30) days old if you are interested on sending an application. If you decide to apply to Blogsvertise, there are 3 ways where your blog could end up. Its either get accepted, rejected or placed on probation status. Probation status would mean lower payment for reviews but you still get paid to blog with them.

Tasks are sent to you by email so you don’t have to look for advertisers. They have a system that hands out the tasks. You need to check your email regularly as you are only given five (5) days to finish the tasks.

Payments: Made after 30 days after approval of the assigned tasks via Paypal.

7. PayU2Blog

Requirements are not disclosed. You would only know that your application got rejected if they don’t send an email back.

Payments: Sent two (2) weeks after post and via Paypal.

8. Loudlaunch

Blog must be at least sixty (60) days old and should be iupdated regularly. They don’t have any other requirement because their advertisers also set individual requirements.

Payments: $5 for each post and sent via PayPal between the 1st and 5th day of each month for posts approved from the 1st and 20th day of the last month. (got dizzy on that part) Again, good for small blog or blogs with little traffic and readership.

9. ReviewMe

The very same program that the ever famous John Chow uses on his blog. Requirements are not disclosed. On ReviewMe, it is mandatory to disclose that the blog is sponsored.

Payments: Two options, you can get paid via check (must be at least $25 though) or paypal (no minimum) and sent monthly.

10. BloggingAds

Your blog needs to be cached in Google’s database. Your blog won’t be approved if your blog has no PageRank and has a very low Alexa ranking. On BloggingAds, you don’t have to write the reviews yourself. All you have to do is to copy and paste a review on your blog though you still have the option to write write the post yourself. Has a limit of three (3) posts per month for each blog.

Payments: Sent weekly by PayPal.

11. BloggerWave

Didn’t find any requirement for any blog to get accepted. It’s safe to assume that a decent number of traffic and PR is needed.

Payments: Sent via PayPal a month after the approval of post.

12. LinkWorth

There are a lot of money making opportunities with LinkWorth and getting you paid to blog or do a post in your blog is just one them.

Payments: Sent via Paypal, cheque, direct deposit or wire. (a lot of options wow!)

13. BlogToProfit

They require your blog to be at least ninety (90) days old and should be updated at least twice a week.

Payments: Sent every week via PayPal.

14. InBlogAds (site currently down and will be re-launching)

You need to have Wordpress blog that is hosted on your own webhost and domain. Aside from that, good traffic and PR is also a must-have.

Payments: Sent monthly via paypal but you need to accumulate a minimum of $10 to avail for a payout.

15. BlogDistributor

The content of each blog posting must be unique. You cannot use the same content on multiple Blog Postings or on Multiple Blogs and you cannot copy content from other Blogs. There must be at least twenty (20) Blog Postings in your Blog in the last 90 days, with the exception of certain specialty areas. Your Blog must be indexed in Google.

Blogger must be from the US and Canada. (bummer!)

17. Bloggertizer

No requirement because this site sole purpose is to link bloggers to advertisers. You have to agree with the advertiser on the details of your post.

18. Snapbomb

I didn’t find the requirements in any of the pages on the site. So we’ll go with the obvious. Descent readership and descent PR would be nice.
