Blogging and Making Money Online is Easy?
It has been a known fact that doing sponsored posts is a good income stream from a blog. A lot of people get into blogging because they seem to think that you could make easy money out of it. I think they are dead wrong.
Maintaining a blog needs time and patience. A blog needs to be nurtured for it to grow. You also need to take care of a lot of things when setting up a blog like registering your domain name and paying for your web hosting. In my case, I do a few sponsored posts for sites like payperpost (that is a link to the site’s code of ethics) every now and then but I am not relying on that channel for this blog’s income as I 
think abusing it is the worst things that could happen. I don’t want to sound like a hypocrite, I admit that I did a whole lot of sponsored posts in the past on this blog. You could check the archives for that but I think I have learned my lesson. Sponsored posts is bad when you abuse it.
I would rather use the other ways of monetizing this blog like CPC advertising which I am still working really hard on to improve. I’ve also reduced the number of posts on my other blogs and I try really hard to accept only the projects that only has some sort of relation to the niche of my blog. I learned that this kind of posts don’t really work well with your readers, I learned that the hard way!

When used in conjunction with an overall monetizing strategy, pay per post is a fine and legitimate method of making money with your blog. As long as the writer can honestly endorse the subject and/or product being written about, it’s perfectly fine.

Sponsored Reviews are fine; however, I do agree with you that it is better to stay within your own niche. Otherwise there is no benefit to your readers.
