An Important Thing About Picking Out a Potential Employee

Posted by Rome in Tips and Tricks

This will most likely not apply to everyone reading this blog but it would be nice to know. I guess a little boost in our stock knowledge wouldn’t really hurt. Who knows, maybe someday we could have our own companies. This tidbit would certainly come in handy.

If you are more of a gaming person, I have another post coming right up about Nintendo DS Lite Games. Meanwhile, this should be worth the read.

A company is a form of business organization. I have listed here three (3) different definitions of what a company is.

  1. In the United States, a company is a corporation or more commonly it is an association, partnership, or union that carries on a commercial or industrial enterprise.
  2. Another is that a company may be a corporation, a partnership, an association, a joint-stock company, trust, fund, or an organized group of persons.
  3. And in the Commonwealth realms, a company is a form of body corporate or corporation, generally registered under the Companies Acts or similar legislation. It does not include a partnership or any other unincorporated group of persons.

I think that would give us an idea of what a company is. Lets now get into the backbone of a company, its employees.

For a company to be successful, it needs to have responsible, trustworthy and loyal employees. When you think of it, this is one of the most simplest things that is often taken for granted. Just remember, the employees of a company could make it or break it. What I’m trying to say is that there should be proper employee screening. Most of the companies today conduct interviews to screen their applicants but can you really tell what a person is by just that? A few minutes of chit-chat? I don’t think so.

There are lots of better ways to achieve the goal above. One is to run an employment background check to see how that applicant was with his/her past employers. This could give you a clear idea on what the applicant’s work ethic is. Certainly better than the usual interview. This kind of employment screening service provides you with the most current and accurate information available.

Do you need to be cost conscious when the company is on the line? hmm
