Save Time on Reciprocating EntreCard Drops by Knowing Where You’ve Been

Posted by Rome in Traffic Building - SEO

You already know where you could see the hidden button on EntreCard that lets you see the last 98 blogs that have dropped their cards on you. On that page - the inbox, you will be able to see a lot of 125×125s, 98 of them to be exact.

With all these 98 cards on that single page it would be really hard to tell if you’ve already dropped a card on that blog. So that you could avoid visiting that blog again and save some precious time, I will tell you how to tell whether you have already dropped on that blog or not for a certain day.

The image below has 2 arrows on it. 1 is colored orange and the other is black. First, look at the orange arrow, you could see it pointing to the border of the 1st 125×125 banner ad on the image. Now, have you noticed that the border of that banner is different from the one on its side. A yellow or orange border on the banner means that you have already visited or dropped on that blog today. The black other on the other hand tells you that you haven’t visited that blog today.

    Well, that is just wonderful!

    I actually use my EC site a little differently so this won’t COMPLETLY work!

    I open to that page and I right click on the ‘ad’ then pick “Open in New Tab” which opens that site DIRECTLY to the blog - no stop on their page with stats, Recommdations, etc.

    This won’t change the color for me.

    I could hit the ‘refresh’ to help track that sort of thing though.

    Nice of you to post and let us know, all the same.

    @Midwest
    I’ve already scanned through it but not read the post because I was in a hurry. Been meaning to read that today but I am still fixing some things. A little later, I’ll read it.

    5 days ago, I had no idea what entrecard is all about. There wasn’t enough FAQ to go by. But I ran into your blog and tip, and this has to be one of the most important tips that I have ran into and implemented. Many thanks and lots of credits to you for making my entrecard experience easier and successful.

    I’ve actually been ignoring EntreCard lately. And it’s not even in my new design. But this was interesting. I’ll have to check it out and see it for myself. :)
